Ligustrum
is more commonly known as a shrub used for hedges
and screens, however we like it most when limbed
up into a small tree. 'Wavy Leaf' Ligustrum (recurvifolium)
is our favorite of the group. The foliage is a
waxy dark green and the leaves are wavy. An abundance
of fragrant white flowers are produced in spring.
Once the botoom branches have been removed it
can be left alone to grow natural or clipped to
a more formal shape. |
