Ligustrum
Recurve is a fast growing, dense, upright evergreen
shrub or small tree with large shiny dark green
leaves. Strongly fragrant creamy flowers are produced
in abundance during May.
Ligustrum
Recurve got its name from the leaves that have
wavy margins. It takes pruning well, whether it
be to form a hedge or limbed up to form a small
tree. We've found this variety to be more cold
hardy than other ligustrums.
We
plant Ligustrum Recurve as a hedge/fence or background
for other plants, or most often as a tree form
specimen. Occasionally we'll use it as an inset
corner plant in foundation plantings. |
