Luyken laurel is an evergreen shrub used extensively
for low hedge and structure plantings. It grows
well in most conditions, however, in Zone 8 of
the south performs best with some afternoon shade.
It will grow 4 to 6 feet tall and nearly as wide.
Its waxy, dark green glossy foliage will stand
heavy shearing. Provides nice contrast in the
landscape. An abundance of white bottlebrush-like
blooms are produced in spring. |
