Junipers
are hardy coniferus evergreens and drought tolerant
plants that provide unique color and contrasting
texture in the landscape. They are exceptionally
drought tolerant and no pruning is required.
Over
the years we've found several varieties that perform
exceptionally well in the southern landscape.
Grey Owl, Sea Green, Hollywood, and Saybrook Gold
are a few of our personal favorites.
We
usually plant junipers in groupings however sometimes
use them as a single specimen. 'Hollywood' is
one that we often use for espalier, planted against
a sunny wall, or as a screen.
