Pruning:   Not necessary however to maintain a more dense form it can be pruned once per year just after spring bloom. Fall pruning will reduce the spring show of flowers.

Forsythia, more commonly known as 'Yellow Bells', is a large growing deciduous shrub that is one of the first to bloom in spring. The sprawling branches become literally covered in bright yellow flowers. We often use this plant in sunny woodland borders, as a background, or specimen.
