Boxwoods
are great evergreen shrubs for use in foundation
plantings or to form a medium height to low hedge.
They are moderate to fast growers and shear well
to maintain formal shapes. Pictured to the left
are two of the hardiest boxwoods for the south
that we use in landscape designs. 'Wintergeen'
grows to 4 feet in height and 5 feet in spread,
while 'Harland', a dwarf, grow about 2 feet in
height with an equal spread. |
