Aucuba is a shade loving plant that brings a tropical splash to the garden. Leaves are either dark green or variegated green and yellow, depending on the variety. The two varieties shown to the left are the one's that we use most in our landscape planning. Though this plant looks like a houseplant don't let it fool you - it's extremely hardy and long-lived in the southeast
