Water:   Prefers well-drained soils - Very drought tolerant

No other plant we know of attracts more butterflies than the lantana's! Most varieties of lantana are annuals, however we've found a few over the years that have shown to be exceptionally hardy. The most hardy is 'Miss Huff's Hardy' which grows to 6 feet in height and 10 feet or more in spread and produces an abundance of tri-color yellow, orange and pink flowers. 'Mozelle' and 'Pink Caprice' grow to 3 feet in height and 4 feet in spread and produce pink and yellow bi-color flowers. 'New Gold' and 'Gold Mound' are trailing varieties which grow to 18 inches in height and 3 feet in spread and produce solid yellow flowers. Lantanas bloom profusely from late May to frost and are exceptionally drought and heat tolerant!

Special Note: Do not prune lantana in fall as this will insure death of the plant. Prune lantana in spring when new growth begins to emerge from the base of the plant.
