This is one of the few Miniatures to win the Award of Excellence for Miniature Roses, and it is one of the most versatile of the entire class. It has cascading style of growth and the ability to cover itself in flowers over and over again through the growing season. A mature plant of 'Red Cascade' is truly a spectacle to behold, with its hundreds of deep Ruby red 1.25 inch double blooms.

'Red Cascade' will easily grow into a weeping shrub of at least four feet wide and 3 feet tall. In warmer climates it can reach dimensions rivaling any full-sized Climber, up to 12 feet if trained on a support. There is a pleasant fragrance at times, but it is best described as “light'. Its true merit is its vigor and generosity of bloom. An excellent cascading landscape shrub which is perfectly at home in the Modern Ground Cover classification as well. Amazing in large tubs or cascading down a rock wall.

We plant Red Cascade as a groundcover on slopes, to trail over a wall, or to climb a fence or trellis. Also outstanding when grown in a hanging basket.
