Blue
Star Creeper is an evergreen mat-forming perennial
with tiny, deep green leaves. Starry, light blue
flowers are borne off and on from late spring
to early fall.
Blue
Star Creeper prefers the soil to be moist but
well-drained when establishing itself, but once
established is drought tolerant. We plant it in
full sun to part shade as a groundcover or between
stepping stones or pavers. It handles foot traffic
well. It's a perfect choice to underplant a Japanese
maple. In Zone 8
this plant is evergreen.
We've
found no serious pest or disease problems for
this plant.
