Silver
Arrow Grass is a miscanthus grass that has outstanding
variegated foliage with creamy-white thin stripes
of variegation thoughout the leaves and on the
margins giving it a medium-bold texture. Unlike
some of the older variegated forms of miscanthus,
Silver Arrow is more vertical in habit and doesn't
weep over.
We
plant Silver Arrow Grass wherever the sun shines
in areas that have well-drained soil. A great
vertical accent for hot and dry spots in the landscape.
Doesn't require the space that Pampas
Grass does, and we think it's just as pretty,
if not prettier. We often combine it in beds with
other drought tolerant shrubs and trees.
