Cut
back dormant foliage in winter before new
growth begins to emerge in early spring. |
This
native grass forms tidy clumps of very fine blue
foliage that provides both color and texture to
the garden. In late summer or fall they explode
into bloom with clouds of airy pinkish-purple
flowers that last for many weeks. Stunningly beautiful,
even in heat, humidity or drought!
We
plant Muhly Grass in full sun areas that have
average to dry soil making sure there is very
good drainage. Does not tolerate winter wetness.
A perfect grass for massing on hillsides or slopes.
